Barolo Annunziata 2007/9

This outstanding red wine from the Annunziata area has a complex bouquet with hints of ripe fruit, floral and slightly smoky fruit. It tastes of cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, white pepper, licorice, leather, and chocolate. It is best served with game, braised meats and strong cheese.
